I lead a busy life as a family physician, dad/husband, and masters bike racer. I have been practicing family medicine for over 13 years at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington. My practice interests are in sports medicine, nutrition, and behavioral health. I am married to Aimee and have 2 sons, Aidan, 8, and Adam, 4. I got into bike racing at Stanford University in 1983. My love of bicycling has taken me on all sort of adventures. In college, I finished high enough at the '86 US Nationals (6th place in the 4000meter pursuit) to qualify for the '88 Olympic Trials. I have continued to race here and there, and even manage to win a few races still.
Riding is a way for me to get together with my buddies, Bill and Brian, every winter and ride 1,000 miles or so in 9 days (usually the Baja Peninsula).
This year we have decided to attempt the once-in-a-lifetime feat of Race Across America.
